Maui, Hawaii - Sea Kayaking, whale watching and snorkeling tour to Crater Island.

Maui, Hawaii - Sea Kayaking, whale watching and snorkeling tour to Crater Island.

Sea Kayaking Tour

We were in Maui during whale season and the sea kayaking tour was an incredible experience for whale watching and for the snorkeling that we enjoyed while on this tour.    Imagine being in your kayak and just less then a quarter mile from where we were  in our kayaks a giant whale jumps out of the water and does a full breech right in front of our very eyes.  SO AMAZING!!

Whale watching season runs from December to May in Maui.   During these months you will see the Pacific Humpback whales here in the channel.  Thousands of whales migrate from Alaska each year to the warm waters of Hawaii to mate.   If you go under the water and  be extremely quiet making sure not to blow any bubbles out your nose.  Listen real close and you can hear the whales bellowing through the waters.

We enjoyed seeing the sea turtles and we saw many of them.  This one was playing hide and seek with us.  I like the way they glide through the water, they make it look so effortless.

Molokini Crater Island Snorkeling Tour - Molokini is an ancient volcano that  offers some of the clearest water for snorkeling in the world with a wide range of tropical fish to view below the water and  above the water you will find a bird sanctuary.   Molokiini Crater is located 2 miles offshore from south Maui.
