Wether you enjoy hiking, biking, kayaking, fishing, horseback riding, off-highway vehicle trails, camping, hunting or just simply enjoy nautre. Then you are bound to love the land that is
located between Kentucky Lake and Barkley Lake. It is 170,000 acres of national recreation land known as Land between the Lakes. This recreation area includes 400 miles of roads, 300 miles of undeveloped shoreline, 200 miles of hiking and biking trails, 100 miles of horse and wagon trails, and 100 miles of off road vehicle trails. Boaters you will find 22 boat ramps here.

Hiking Trails
Trails are open year round at Land Between the Lakes National Recreation area. We went early to mid October which was quite gorgeous at that time of year with the changing leaves and the cooler temperatures.
