Lake Como, Italy - Day 4 - A Perfect Day Boating on Lake Como, Italy
This was our last day on Lake Como, the weather was absolutely gorgeous that day so we decided
the best way to enjoy the lake and see all the beautiful scenery is to rent a boat and cruise around the lake. We rented decided to go with the 4 hour boat rental, which was enough time to see what we wanted to see with a little bit of time to relax and swim. However we all enjoyed this time very much and would have loved to have a couple of more hours out there to relax.
Villa Del Balbianello
Located on Lake Como
This Villa was seen in the James Bond movie Casino Royale and also in Star Wars II: Attack of the Clones. The Villa is now owned by a private non-profit trust, FAI or Fondo per L'Ambiente Italiano. It is open to the public for everyone to enjoy.
Open from Mid- March to Mid-November 10 am -
6 pm
Open everyday, except Mondays and Wednesdays and closed on public holidays
Last entrance time: half an hour before closing.
