The van follows behind the group for anyone who gets tired and wants a rest. I was so cold and tired that I chose to ride in the van the entire time.

The end of the ride is in a small hippie town called Paia. A very charming town in the heart of Maui's North Shore.
We had to wake up at 3:00 in the morning for this tour in order to see the sun rise over the mountain top. The van picked us up from our hotel lobby and we were on our way. It just happened to be rainy and cold that morning.
It was very, very cold up on top of the mountain. The tour guides provided rain gear for us to wear and blankets, but I still couldn't manage to get warm.
